Would you believe that even before the Canyonstrafers website was born we still went on rides? Here is proof. Me (Jimil), Marv, and Charlie did a little jaunt up to the top of Mt. Diablo in Dublin. The views were spectacular. You could see really really far. It was really really cool! J/K I'll let the pictures do the talking. Since the top of the mountain is a state park you have to pay to get in. Also you really can't ride hard because of all the picnic areas. But if you've never been there it is worth it at least once.
Charlie has a 1998 YZF600R that he brought over from Florida. He has since then moved on and now lives in LA. He is a straight line speed freak and wheelie happy to boot. Since they don't have very many twisty roads in Florida (at least where he lived), coming to the bay area for the short time he was here, was sportbike heaven! Jimil is riding his trusty 1999 YZF600R, and Marv is on his 1999 R1. Charlie's bike has about a 5 hp advantage over Jimil's cause its a 49th state bike. California bikes are emissions restricted.
