Mike Solis was our ride leader for this trip. I don't remember all the roads we hit that day but there were a LOT and I don't think I could do it again without help from Mike. From Hollister we took Hwy 25 south towards King City. The rolling hills and mountains on 25 are just awesome. Everything is green with spring on the way. We then jumped on 198 which had some rockin sweepers and awesome views of a huge valley. From there we hit a few more backroads and somehow ended up near 101 and Kettlemen City (I think). We were pretty far inland and it was starting to get pretty damn hot so we all started peeling off layers. I had to many layers and was on the brink of over heating. Yeah, I guess I over did it. 2 long sleeved thermals and a t-shirt, but at least I was warm on the ride down to Hollister.
