CanyonStrafers Trackday, Buttonwillow, CA - June 23rd, 2003Strafers that attended this trackday were Jel, Rich, Andy C, Les, Steve (BW trackday organizer extrordanaire), Jesse, Aimee, John L., Solis, Christy (non rider), Vince, and Dan (non rider)Write up by Andy Cbw ? what can i say, except that it felt good to be back on a track that i knew. good to do that back to back and feel the difference total track knowledge makes. although, there were changes, the curbs in the esses, and the turn onto the front straight were all new. thanks for setting this up steve. Rich/Les/Jel - be sure to post all of the pics, none of this censorship to protect the guilty. either post them, or i'll make you wish you did. anyway, thanks to all the CS'ers that made this happen, and thanks to rich, jel, and les for a good time. good riding by all the CS'ers and no crashes. for future reference, the day off between track days was excellent. i could do two or more days in a row, but i think it was better to have a day off in between. only thing missing was the chicks. Jel ? weren't you in charge of this ? WTF ? i'm going to have to deduct a star for this logistics screw up, so i'll have to give the trip only 3 stars. later. AndyC |
